Bubinga
Bubinga is a gorgeous, durable reddish brown hardwood that grows in equatorial Africa. It has a fine, tight, interlocked grain with medium luster and beautiful blond sapwood that complements and highlights the heartwood tones.
In 2018, CSWoods responsibly acquired Bubinga wood from sustainably managed forests in the Central African Republic. Witnessing its meticulous milling into large live edge slabs in Germany, CSWoods ensured adherence to Rocky Mountain Kiln Dry specifications during precise kiln drying before shipping the slabs directly to Denver.
These Bubinga slabs exhibit impeccably straight live edges, pristine surfaces, uniform width, and subtle figuring. While some end checking and minor banding edge damage may be present, they are primed for use after kiln drying. Various sizes, including wide, full width table tops and full-length live edge bar tops, are available. Leveling services are offered at $192 per hour.
