Disclaimer of Warranties and Conditions
Wood slabs and lumber are natural products. They will contain differences in color, grain, defects, etc. Prices vary depending on quantity, grade, and dimensions. Returned wood is accepted in original condition with prior approval, you pay freight. There will be additional charges for: project sorting and high-grading through packs, and small orders. CS Woods cannot be held responsible for health issues relating to wood, wood working, and wood products. All material sold as is.
Collector’s Specialty Woods warranties the materials and workmanship of our custom-made furniture for two years. After two years, CS Woods will consult and provide guidance to maintain or repair in our shop any future damage to your furniture. This warranty doesn’t cover damage to the table caused by misuse. Customers are provided a care and maintenance sheet that outlines products to use for cleaning. No other products should be used to clean your table. CS Woods tables are built for daily family use. All CS Woods furniture has been finished in a way appropriate for its expected use. Most surfaces have a tough, water and alcohol resistant finish, with six coats of sustainable, natural and earth-friendly polymerized tung oil and uralkyd resin. It is sand polished and refinishable. If another finish is recommend because of expected use, CS Woods will fully inform the customer of it and they will be made aware of how to maintain it. Items like metal, ceramics, and other materials that are harder than wood should not be dropped or slid across finished wood surfaces. This may result in the denting or scratching.
You expressly understand and agree that the Collector’s Specialty Woods website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Returns
Prices vary depending on quantity, grade, and dimensions. Returned wood is accepted in original condition with prior approval within 60 days, customer pays freight and any restocking fee. There are additional charges for: project sorting and high-grading through packs and small orders. All material sold as is.
Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that Collector’s Specialty Woods shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including resulting from the use or the inability to use the website, the services, the content or our products.
Privacy Policy
CS Woods does not sell, rent or exchange any customer information and all collected information is confidential. We have implemented security policies and technical measures to protect your personal data from improper use or unauthorized access.
If it is necessary to obtain addresses and other contact information to fulfill your requests for our services and products, we will only use the information you provide to provide the products you requested.
The CS Woods website and our showroom signup document allow a customer to voluntarily submit an e-mail to opt into our periodic newsletter which contains sales, deals, new stock updates, and other content that may be of interest. This email will only be used for the expressed purpose of keeping you informed about CS Woods news and will not be sold, distributed.
If our information practices change, we will post the policy changes to our website and notify our email list of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these uses. You may opt out of our newsletter at any time via the link at the bottom of the email or by emailing alana@cswoods.com.
Copyright Policy
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. CS Woods will not knowingly post content or other works of authorship that infringe the copyrights of others. If you believe that a work of copyright has been copied in any way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may notify us by emailing us at alana@cswoods.com with the following information:
- The name of the person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
- a description of the work you claim has been infringed; and a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site;
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
