After many years of searching, CSWoods has found a finish we really like. Land Ark Oil was developed for the log home industry but also works exceptionally well for fine furniture. CSWoods has a its own unique recipe, which is mixed exclusively for us. It is an organic combination of oils, wax and citrus thinner, without driers. It is easy to use; Thin Land Ark Oil should be used first to penetrate deep into the wood, followed by Thick Land Ark Oil to build a smooth finish with depth. The finish is highly resistant to water and alcohol. It is forgiving and easy to clean, brighten and repair on any woodwork. It is suitable for interior and exterior applications. We are so happy with this product that we decided to supply Land Ark Oil to our customers.

Directions for use:

To clean and restore wood surfaces; lightly dampen dust cloth, apply one coat. To preserve logs, interior and exterior, apply two generous Thin coats. To control end-checking; apply one Thick coat. To finish fine furniture, apply two Thin and two Thick coats, very lightly sand with fine steel wool or Scotch Brite between cured coats. To stain, mix Thick with desired color of aniline dye.

TO COMPLETE ONE COAT:
1. Stir the room-temperature contents.
2. Spread the oil with a cotton rag or brush, leaving on even layer.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2, allowing time for oil to soak.
4. Wipe off any remaining oil. Let sit overnight.
5. Allow wood to warm. A short time in the sun works great. Wipe away bleed-back.
6. Setting time is 24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature.
